Definition

Child benefit is a state social benefit by which the state contributes to the eligible person for the upbringing and maintenance of the dependent child and for the partial payment of school needs for the purpose of supporting the fulfilment of the dependent child's school obligations. The allowance is paid monthly until the child reaches the age of 25, if he or she meets the condition of being dependent.
