Definition

The category pollution taxes includes taxes on measured or estimated emissions to water and air, management of solid waste and noise. An exception is the CO2 taxes, which belong under energy taxes category.

The following taxes are included in this category at national level: fees connected with water pollution, fees connected with air pollution, tax on excavation areas.
