Definition

Body mass index (BMI) is weight in kilograms divided by the square of height in meters. It counts only for adults (from 18 years old).

BMI = weight (kg)/height (m)2

underweight: BMI < 18.5
normal weight: 18.5 ≤ BMI < 25
overweight: 25 ≤ BMI < 30
obesity: BMI ≥ 30
