The yearbook provides current data for 2024 in the context of the previous three years and selected indicators from 2000. It provides the most comprehensive annual data on the development of rail, road, water and air transport as well as data on urban public transport in Slovakia. Together in 11 chapters it also provides data on transport infrastructure, but also on employment and wages in individual modes of transport, including the number of vehicles and accident rates in road transport. It also contains data on post offices as well as on the number and structure of telecommunication connections to fixed and mobile networks, including the Internet, and selected international comparisons of the Slovak Republic with EU countries.
