Statistical Yearbook 2023: New data for health, fixed assets and energy

The Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic has published the second edition of the Statistical Yearbook of the Slovak Republic 2023. The chapters on Health, Fixed Assets and Energy have been updated.

The Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic has completed definitive data from the field of healthcare and energy for 2022, and the most up-to-date data on the state of long-term assets in 2021, which are part of the first update of the Statistical Yearbook of the Slovak Republic 2023. The publication was published in December last year.

The second edition, published on January 22, extends the content of the tables with the most up-to-date data in chapters 7. Health, 13. Fixed assets and 18. Energy. Definitive data are available on the number of healthcare facilities, working posts in health services, health workforce, beds in health facilities, or the number patient visits to doctors' offices. The latest data on the gross and net fixed assets and also on primary production, import, export, as well as stocks and consumption, e.g. electricity, gas, oil and oil products.

The Statistical Yearbook of the Slovak Republic 2023, the most comprehensive statistical publication of the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic, presents data for 2021 in the context of the previous four years and selected basic indicators in a fourteen-year time series.
