The producer prices of industrial producers in Slovakia in September were lower by almost 9% than a year ago. Agricultural products were slightly cheaper mainly due to lower prices of crop products.

In September, inflation in pensioner´s households was at the level of 2.2%, households of employees as well as low-income households experienced a year-on-year price growth equally by 2.7%.

Deficit and debt of the SR in 2023 - updated
The General government deficit of the Slovak Republic in 2023 amounted to EUR 6.4 billion. Its value compared to 2022 tripled and slightly increased by EUR 0.4 billion even compared to the first estimate from April of this year.
