Prices in market services slightly increased the growth dynamics

The prices of market services in the 2nd quarter of 2024 rose by 3.4% year-on-year. Quarter-on-quarter prices in market services increased by 1.1%.

Prices in air transport recorded the most dynamic year-on-year growth (by 36.6%). Prices rose more significantly in administrative, office support and other business support activities (by 28.1%), in warehousing and support services in transportation (by 15.6%) and in services in the field of computer programming (by 15.0%).

On the contrary, there was a  price drop compared to the corresponding period last year in employment services (by 2.1%) and in land transport, financial services excluding insurance and in architectural and engineering services (by 1.1%).

Quarter-on-quarter, i.e. compared to the 1st quarter of 2024, prices increased mainly in administrative, office support and other business support activities (by 26.9%) and in air transport (by 22.2%). Prices in telecommunications (by 0.9%) and in real estate services (by 0.6%) recorded the most significant quarter-on-quarter drop.
