In February 2022, prices increased in the whole production area, industrial producer prices for the domestic market increased the most, year-on-year

Industrial producer prices

In February, compared to January, industrial producer prices for the domestic market increased by 13.3%. Prices of electricity and gas supply increased by 28.2%, mining and quarrying by 5.1%, manufacturing by 2.4% and water supply and waste management by 0.4%.

In manufacturing, prices of coke and petroleum products increased by 12.6%, chemicals by 5.5%, wood products by 3.5%, food by 2.8%, pharmaceutical products by 2.6%, rubber and plastic products by 1.8%, electrical equipment by 1.4%, metals and also other manufacturing by 1.3% and transport equipment by 0.5%. Prices of manufacture of machinery n.e.c. decreased by 0.4%, textiles and leather by 0.3% and computer products by 0.2%.

In February 2022, compared to February 2021, industrial producer prices for the domestic market increased by 39%. Prices of electricity and gas supply rose by 82.1%, mining and quarrying by 29.7%, manufacturing by 14.2% and water supply and waste management by 6.8%.

In manufacturing, prices of coke and petroleum products increased by 58.6%, chemicals by 53.1%, metals by 32%, wood products by 24.3%, food by 13.5%, rubber and plastic products by 8.3%, electrical equipment by 8 %, machinery not elsewhere classified by 7.9%, textiles and leather by 6.9%, pharmaceutical products by 3.5%, computer products by 3.2% and other manufacturing by 2.8%. Prices of manufacture of transport equipment decreased by 0.8%.

On average, since the beginning of the year, compared to the same period last year, industrial producer prices for the domestic market rose by 31.5% due to an increase in prices of electricity and gas supply by 61.9%, mining and quarrying by 26.3 %, manufacturing by 13.8% and water supply and waste management by 6.9%.

In February, compared to January, industrial producer prices for the non-domestic market increased by 2.3%. Prices of manufacturing rose by 2.3%, electricity and gas supply by 2.1% and mining and quarrying by 0.9%. Prices of water supply and waste management decreased by 2.7%.

In manufacturing, prices of coke and petroleum products increased by 10.8%, wood products by 10.7%, chemicals by 5.7%, food by 4.9%, machinery n.e.c. by 4.4%, other manufacturing by 4.2%, rubber and plastic products 2.5%, pharmaceutical products by 1.6%, electrical equipment by 1.4%, transport equipment and also metals by 1.1% and manufacture of textiles and leather by 0.2%. Prices of computer products decreased by 1.2%.

In February 2022, compared to February 2021, industrial producer prices for the non-domestic market increased by 21.1%. Prices of water supply and waste management rose by 150.1%, electricity and gas by 119%, mining and quarrying by 34% and manufacturing by 16.5%.

In manufacturing, prices of manufacture of chemicals increased by 62.5%, coke and petroleum products by 58.9%, wood products by 41.8%, metals by 40.3%, food by 14.4%, electrical equipment by 11.7%, machinery n.e.c. by 10.1%, rubber and plastic products by 9.9%, computer products by 9.4%, other manufacturing by 7.5%, transport equipment by 6% and textiles and leather by 1.5%. Prices of manufacture of pharmaceutical products decreased by 0.3%.

On average, since the beginning of the year, compared to the same period last year, industrial producer prices for the non-domestic market grew by 20.1% due to an increase in prices of water supply and waste management by 148.1%, electricity and gas supply by 110.5% , mining and quarrying by 40.1% and manufacturing by 15.7%.

Prices of agricultural products

In February, prices of agricultural products were higher by 23.4% year-on-year. Prices of crop products increased by 39.8% and prices of animal products by 7.7%.

As for the crop products, prices of oilseeds and seeds increased by 51.6%, prices of cereals by 47%, prices of legumes by 28.6%, prices of potatoes by 6.6% and prices of fruit and vegetables by 6%.

As for the animal products, prices of sheep and lambs slaughtered increased by 22.8%, prices of poultry slaughtered by 19.5%, prices of hen edible eggs by 10.6%, prices of raw cow milk by 9.7%, prices of raw sheep wool in pot by 6.9%, prices of pigs slaughtered by 2.1% and prices of beef cattle and calves by 1.9%. Prices of live fish decreased by 0.4%.

On average, since the beginning of the year, prices of agricultural products rose by19.3%, due to higher prices of crop products by 32.9% and higher prices of animal products by 5.9%.

Construction work prices

In February 2022, compared to January, construction work prices increased by 1.3%. Compared to February 2021, they increased by 12.9%. On average, since the beginning of the year, construction work prices rose by 12.1% year on year.

Prices of construction materials and components

In February 2022, compared to January, prices of construction materials and components increased by 3.9%. Compared to February 2021, they increased by 25.8%. On average, since the beginning of the year, prices of construction materials and components increased by 24.6% year on year.
