New orders in industry returned to growth in November 2022

The value of new orders in industry increased by 1.7% year-on-year in the eleventh month and their volume¹⁾ reached EUR 5.8 billion. Month-on-month, after taking seasonal effects into account, new orders in industry increased by 2.3% in November 2022.²⁾

After a month of year-on-year decline in November 2022, new orders started to grow again, while their volume was higher in 8 of the 12 monitored sectors of industry. Orders increased the most year-on-year in manufacture of electrical equipment, manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and manufacture of textiles. Orders decreased year-on-year mainly in manufacture of chemicals and chemical products, manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products and in manufacture of paper and paper products.
