Prices of market services continued to grow

Prices of market services increased by 15.9% year-on-year in the 2nd quarter of 2023. Quarter-on-quarter prices of market services rose by 0.5%.

Prices recorded the most dynamic year-on-year growth in financial services, excluding insurance by 85.1%. Prices rose more significantly in office administrative, office support and other business support activities (by 64.3%), in publishing activities (by 36.2%), in real estate activities (by 28.7%) and in warehouse and auxiliary activities in transport (by 26.9%).

On the contrary, a decrease in prices was recorded in telecommunications (by 3.6%) and in renting and leasing activities (by 0.3%) compared to the same period last year.

Quarter-on-quarter, compared to the 1st quarter of 2023, prices increased mainly in office administrative, office support and other business support activities (by 65.1%) and in air transport (by 25.8%). Prices recorded the most significant quarter-on-quarter decline in telecommunications (by 20.2%) and publishing activities (by 1.1%).
