Prices of market services continued to grow, the growth dynamics accelerated again

Prices of market services in the third quarter of 2024 were higher by 4.6% year-on-year, remaining unchanged quarter-on-quarter.

Of market services¹⁾, the most dynamic year-on-year growth was recorded in prices in air transport (by 34.8%). Prices increased more significantly in computer programming (by 18%), in programming and broadcasting services (by 17.7%), in warehousing and support services in transportation (by 13.4%) and in administrative, office support and other business support activities (by 12.5%).

On the contrary, there was a price decrease compared to the corresponding period last year  in employment services (by 4.0%) and in land transport and telecommunications (both by 1.1%).

Quarter-on-quarter, i.e. compared to the 2^nd quarter of 2024, prices increased mainly in air transport (by 21.8%) and in postal and courier services (by 5.6%). The most significant quarter-on-quarter decrease was recorded mainly in prices in administrative, office support and other business support activities (by 14.6%) and in advertising and market research (by 9.6%).
