As of September 30, 2022 the Slovak Republic had 5,431,344 inhabitants.

In the third quarter of 2022, there were 14,193 live births and 13,757 deaths in the SR.

The natural increase reached the value of 436 persons.

The net migration reached negative value of 154 persons (the number of immigrants was 1,357 and emigrants 1,511).

The total increase was 282 persons in the third quarter of 2022.

Data are preliminary, during the year are updated until the end of the annual data processing.
