In September, inflation in pensioner´s households dropped to 2.2%
Inflation- price growth in September 2024 in Slovakia, was published by the Statistical Office of the SR on October 15. On a regular monthly basis, it also publishes detailed structures of the price growth rate for selected social groups.
In September, consumer prices in Slovakia as a whole were higher by 2.6% year-on-year. When broken down by the type of household, it applied that households of employees and low-income households experienced their year-on-year growth by 2.7%, while for households of pensioners inflation was at the level of 2.2%.
In total for the first nine months of 2024, consumer prices within the SR increased by 2.7% year-on-year, in the households of employees by 2.8%, in low-income households by 2.6%, in the households of pensioners by 2.1%.
