Development of prices in production area in March 2020

In March compared with February, output prices of the domestic market decreased by 0,4 %. Prices decreased in mining and quarrying by 0,9 %, manufacturing by 0,5 %, electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply by 0,2 %. Prices rose in water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation by 0,3 %.

In manufacturing, prices decreased in manufacture of electrical equipment; coke and refined petroleum products equally by 3,5 %, chemicals and chemical products by 2,4 %, rubber and plastic products by 0,7 % and transport equipment by 0,5 %. Prices of wood and paper products and printing increased by 1,3 %, machinery and equipment n.e.c. by 0,8 %, textiles, apparel, leather and related products by 0,4 %, other manufacture, repair and installation of machinery and equipment by 0,3 %, metal and fabricated metal products; computer, electronic and optical products equally by 0,1%. Prices of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations; food, beverages and tobacco remained unchanged.

In March 2020 compared with March 2019, output prices of the domestic market increased by 2,1 %. Prices rose in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 4,7 %, water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation by 1,2 %, manufacturing by 0,8 %. Prices of mining and quarrying decreased by 2,3 %.

In manufacturing, prices increased in manufacture of transport equipment by 4,6 %, textiles, apparel, leather and related products by 3,3  %, machinery and equipment n.e.c. by 2,7 %, food, beverages and tobacco by 1,6 %, rubber and plastic products by 1 %, basic pharmaceutical products and preparations by 0,9 %, manufacture of electrical equipment; other manufacture, repair and installation of machinery equally by 0,5 %, computer, electronic and optical products by 0,1 %. Prices of coke and refined petroleum products decreased by 11,1 %, chemicals and chemical products by 3 %, metal and fabricated metal products by 1,1 %. Prices of wood and paper products and printing remained unchanged.

Since the beginning of the year 2020, compared with the same period of the previous year, output prices of the domestic market increased by 2,5 % due to higher prices in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 4,5 %, manufacturing by 1,6 %, water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities by 0,5 %. Prices decreased in mining and quarrying by 2,6 %,.

In March compared with February, output prices of the non-domestic market decreased by 0,4 %. Prices of electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply decreased by 0,9 %, manufacturing by 0,3 %. Price of water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities rose by 1,5 %, mining and quarrying by 0,3 %.

In manufacturing, prices decreased in manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products by 9,1 %, chemicals and chemical products by 2,5 %, rubber and plastic products by 0,9 %, textiles, apparel, leather and leather products by 0,1 %. Prices of electrical equipment rose by 1,7 %, other manufacture, repair and installation of machinery and equipment by 0,5 %, wood and paper products and printing; metal and fabricated metal products; machinery and equipment n.e.c. equally by 0,4 %, food, beverages and tobacco by 0,2 %, basic pharmaceutical products and preparations; computer, electronic and optical products equally by 0,1 %. Prices of transport equipment remained unchanged.

In March 2020 compared with March 2019, export prices increased by 0,5 %. Prices rose in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 5,1 %, mining and quarrying by 4,5 % and manufacturing by 0,3 %. Prices of water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities decreased by 0,6 %.

In manufacturing, prices rose in manufacture of textiles, apparel, leather and related products by 17,9 %, machinery and equipment n.e.c. by 4,8 %, transport equipment by 4,1 %, other manufacture, repair and installation of machinery by 3,7 %, manufacture of food, beverages and tobacco by 2,9 %,  manufacture of electrical equipment by 2,3 %, basic pharmaceutical products and preparations by 1,2 %. Prices of coke and refined petroleum products decreased by 13,3 %, computer, electronic and optical products by 9,9 %, wood and paper products by 5,8 %, metal and fabricated metal products by 5,4 %, chemicals and chemical products by 3 %, rubber and plastic products by 0,6 %.

Since the beginning of the year 2020, compared with the corresponding period of the previous year, output prices of the non-domestic market increased by 1,2 % due to higher prices in mining and quarrying by 8 %, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 3,5 %, manufacturing by 1,1 %. Prices of water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities decreased by 3,1 %.

Prices of agricultural products

In March, prices of agricultural products were higher year-on-year by 1,8 %. Prices of crop products decreased by 6,6 %. Prices of animal products rose by 1,8 %.

In crop products, prices of cereals decreased by 11,7 % and legumes by 7,1 %. Prices of fruit and vegetables increased by 4 %, potatoes by 21,8 % and oil-seeds and oleaginous fruits by 0,8 %.

In animal products, prices of raw cow milk rose by 0,6 %, slaughter pigs by 16,7 % and hen edible eggs by 7,1 %. Prices of raw sheep wool in pot decreased by 17,1 %, slaughter lambs and sheep by 1,9 %, slaughter poultry by 8,5 %, live fish by 1,1 % and beef cattle and calves by 2,1 %.

Since the beginning of 2020, prices of agricultural products decreased, on average, by 4,5 % as a result of lower prices of crop products by 10,5 % and higher prices of animal products by 0,9 %.

Construction work prices

In March 2020 compared with February, construction work prices increased by 0,3 %. Compared with March 2019, they grew by 3,1 %. Since the beginning of the year, construction work prices rose year-on-year, on average, by 3,2 %.

Prices of construction materials and components

In March 2020 compared with February, prices of construction materials and components decreased by 1 %. Compared with March 2019, they decreased by 0,3 %. Since the beginning of 2020, prices of construction materials and components increased year-on-year, on average, by 0,6 %.
