Prices of selected market services were increasing for the second consecutive quarter

In the 2^nd quarter of 2022, the prices of selected market services were higher by 5.5% year-on-year. Quarter-on-quarter prices in market services rose by 1.3%.

Compared to the corresponding period a year ago, prices in architectural and engineering services recorded the most dynamic growth by 38.2%. Prices in air transport (by 22.7%), prices in programming and broadcasting services (by 20.4%), prices in administrative, office support and other business support services (by 17.9%) and in advertising and market research rose more significantly (by 15.1%).

On the contrary, the most significant price drop compared to the corresponding period last year occurred in financial services except insurance (by 16.0%). Year-on-year prices also decreased more significantly in publishing services (by 12.8%) and in services in the field of employment services (by 2.1%).

Quarter-on-qaurter, i.e. compared to the 1st quarter of 2022, prices increased mainly in air transport (by 68.5%) and in programming and broadcasting services (by 20.2%). Prices in financial services except insurance (by 11.7%) and in legal and accounting services (by 1.1%) recorded the most significant quarter-on-quarter decline.
