Deficit and debt of the SR in 2023
In 2023, the deficit of the general government of the Slovak Republic increased significantly year-on-year, exceeding EUR 6 billion. As a share of GDP, it rose from 1.67% in 2022 to 4.89% in 2023.

Employment and average monthly wage in selected sectors of economy in February 2024
Nominal wages were higher year-on-year in all sectors, real wage growth was also recorded in 9 of them. Employment was higher year-on-year in 6 out of 10 monitored sectors, the numbers of employees was lower in industry, trade and transportation.
