Industrial producer prices
In August, compared to July, industrial producer prices for the domestic market increased by 1.2 %. Prices of electricity and gas supply increased by 2.4 %, manufacturing by 0.6 %, water supply and waste management by 0.4 % and mining and quarrying by 0.1 %.
In manufacturing, prices of metals increased by 2.7 %, wood products by 1.9 %, textiles and leather by 1.8 %, electrical equipment by 1.7 %, coke and petroleum products by 1.5 % and chemicals by 0.7 %. Prices of other manufacturing decreased by 1.2 %, computer products by 0.5 %, machinery not elsewhere classified by 0.3 %, pharmaceutical products by 0.2 % and prices of transport equipment, rubber and plastic products and food products by 0.1 %.
In August 2021, compared to August 2020, industrial producer prices for the domestic market increased by 7 %. Prices of manufacturing increased by 7.9 %, water supply and waste management by 7.2 %, mining and quarrying by 6.3 % and electricity and gas supply by 5.6 %.
In manufacturing, prices of coke and petroleum products increased by 54.7 %, metals by 22.7 %, wood products by 20.2 %, chemicals by 20 %, other production by 5.9 %, electrical equipment by 4.5 %, food by 2.2 %, textiles and leather by 1.7 %, pharmaceutical products by 1.6 % and rubber and plastic products by 0.5 %. Prices of computer products decreased together with prices of machinery not elsewhere classified by 1.8 % and prices of transport equipment by 1.7 %.
On average since the beginning of the year, compared to the same period last year, industrial producer prices increased by 2.3 % due to an increase in prices of mining and quarrying by 5.8 %, water supply and waste management by 5.4 %, manufacturing by 2.8 % and electricity and gas supply by 1.1 %.
In August, compared to July, industrial producer prices for the non-domestic market increased by 1.7 %. Prices of electricity and gas increased by 11.3 %, mining and quarrying by 7.7 % and manufacturing by 1.2 %. Prices of water supply and waste management decreased by 0.6 %.
In manufacturing, prices of manufacture of metals increased by 5.8 %, chemicals by 2.1 %, other production by 1.7 %, wood products by 1.5 %, electrical equipment by 1.3 %, rubber and plastic products by 0.9 %, food by 0.3 %, computer products by 0.2 % and textiles and leather and aslo prices of transport equipment by 0.1 %. Prices of pharmaceutical products remained unchanged. Prices of manufacture of coke and petroleum products decreased by 0.7 % and machinery not elsewhere classified by 0.4 %.
In August 2021, compared to August 2020, industrial producer prices for the non-domestic market increased by 10.2 %. Prices of water supply and waste management were higher by 72.8 %, mining and quarrying by 36.4 %, electricity and gas by 26.3 % and manufacturing by 9.5 %.
In manufacturing, prices of coke and petroleum products increased by 37.3 %, metals by 36.5 %, chemicals by 24.4 %, wood products by 16.1 %, computer products by 12.9 %, electrical equipment by 8.6 %, rubber and plastic products by 7.1 %, other manufacturing by 5.9 %, machinery not elsewhere classified by 4.8 % and food by 1.3 %. Prices of transport equipment decreased by 0.4 %, pharmaceutical products by 0.2 % and textiles and leather by 0.1 %.
On average since the beginning of the year, compared to the same period last year, industrial producer prices for the non-domestic market increased by 4 % due to an increase in prices of water supply and waste management by 30.7 %, mining and quarrying by 16.5 %, electricity and gas supply by 5.6 % and manufacturing by 3.9 %.
Prices of agricultural products
In August, prices of agricultural products rose by 11.6 % year-on-year. Prices of crop products increased by 16 %. Prices of animal products fell by 1 %.
As for the crop products, prices of oilseeds and seeds increased by 24.8 %, prices of cereals by 18.8 %, prices of legumes by 14.1 %, prices of fruit and vegetables by 5.8 % and prices of potatoes by 0.9 %.
As for the animal products, prices of sheep and lamb slaughtered increased by 13.8 %, prices of poultry slaughtered by 9.8 %, prices of beef cattle and calves by 2.7 % and prices of live fish by 1.8 %. Prices of raw sheep wool in pot decreased by 24.1 %, prices of pigs slaughtered by 5.1 %, prices of hen edible eggs by 4.4 % and prices of raw cow milk by 0.1 %.
Since the beginning of the year, prices of agricultural products increased on average by 6.3 % due to higher prices of crop products by 13 % and lower prices of animal products by 2.4 %.
Prices of construction works
In August 2021, compared to July, construction work prices increased by 0.8 %. Compared to August 2020, they increased by 6.3 %. On average, construction work prices rose by 1.7 % year-on-year since the beginning of the year.

In August 2021, compared to July, prices of construction materials and components increased by 2.9 %. Compared to August 2020, they increased by 16 %. On average, since the beginning of the year, prices of construction materials and components increased by 6.4 % year on year.
