Average annual inflation rate (expressed by change in the average annual harmonised index of consumer prices for the last 12 months in comparison with the average for the preceding 12 months) reached in March 2020 the value 2,9 %.

In March 2020 the annual inflation rate measured by harmonized index of consumer prices reached the value 2,4 %.

The month on month harmonized index of consumer prices 100,0 % was influenced  mainly by  decrease and increase and of prices in the following COICOP divisions:  Transport (negative contribution -0,18 percentage point), Alcoholic beverages and tobacco (negative contribution -0,02 p.p.), Furnishings, household equipment and routine household maintenance (negative contribution -0,01 p.p.), Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (positive contribution 0,01 p. p.), Health (positive contribution 0,01 p. p.), Recreation and culture (positive contribution 0,01 p. p.), Restaurants and hotels (positive contribution 0,01 p. p.), Miscellaneous goods and services (positive contribution 0,03 p. p.), Food and non-alcoholic beverages (positive contribution 0,04 percentage point), Clothing and footwear (positive contribution 0,07 percentage point).
