Turnover of accommodation providers rose dynamically in 2023, the sector tried to overcome the three-year slumps caused by the pandemic. Three out of Slovakia's eight regions achieved turnover of over EUR 110 million.

Harmonized indices of consumer prices in January 2024
The annual inflation measured by the harmonized index of consumer prices ac-cording to the European harmonized methodology reached the value 4.4% in Janu-ary 2024, which was 2.2 percentage points lower than in December 2023.
