The second most significant impact was a turnover decrease by 6.9% in specialized stores with other goods, e.g. with footwear, textiles or drugstores and also a decrease by 12.8% in stores with other household goods, which include hobby markets, furniture and consumer electronics stores. Turnover also decreased year-on-year in, for example, specialized stores with food, beverages and tobacco, and also in turnover not in stores, including mail-order sales, and also by sellers in stalls and markets.

The overall result of retail turnover moderated the turnover growth of fuel stores. Their turnover was up by a third year-on-year, but this result was significantly influenced by the expansion of the number of reporting units from the beginning of 2023 after the reclassification of their main activity as retail trade. Turnover growth was maintained by specialized stores with computers and communication technology by 15.6% and stores focused on culture and recreation (e.g. bookstores, toy stores, and sports goods stores) by 4%.
