Industrial producer prices

Industrial producer prices for domestic market increased by 0,5 % in March compared with February. Prices of mining and quarrying increased by 1,6 %, manufacturing by 1,5 % and water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities by 1 %. Prices of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply decreased by 1,1 %.

In manufacturing, prices of coke and refined petroleum products increased by 12,6 %, chemicals and chemical products by 9,4 %, metals and fabricated metal products by 2,1 %, computer, electronic and optical products by 0,6 %, food, beverages and tobacco by 0,4 %, other manufacture, repair and installation of machinery by 0,3 %, textiles, clothing, leather and related products; rubber and plastic products by 0,2 %, wood and paper products and printing; basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations; transport equipment equally by 0,1 %. Prices of machinery and equipment not elsewhere classified decreased by 0,4 % and electrical equipment by 0,2 %.

In March 2021, compared to March 2020, industrial producer prices for domestic market fell by 0,4 %. Prices of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply decreased by 2 %. Prices of mining and quarrying increased by 5,4 %, water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities by 4,1 % and manufacturing by 0,1 %.

In manufacturing, prices of chemicals and chemical products increased by 17 %, manufacture of electrical equipment by 6,8 %, coke and refined petroleum products by 5,3 %, metals and fabricated metal products by 2,9 %, other manufacture, repair and installation of machinery by 2,1 %, basic pharmaceutical products and preparations by 1,7 % and rubber and plastic products by 0,9 %. Prices of machinery and equipment not elsewhere classified decreased by 3,8 %, wood and paper products and printing by 3,5 %, transport equipment by 2,9 %, computer, electronic and optical products by 2,7 %, food, beverages and tobacco by 2 %, textiles, clothing, leather and related products by 0,6 %.

On average, since the beginning of 2021, compared to the same period last year, industrial producer prices fell by 0,7 % due to a decrease in manufacturing prices by 1,6 %. Prices of mining and quarrying increased by 4,3 %, water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities by 3,6 % and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 0,2 %.

In March, compared to February, industrial producer prices for non-domestic market increased by 1,5 %. Prices of water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities increased by 2 %, manufacturing by 1,5 % and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 1,4 %. Prices of mining and quarrying decreased by 0,4 %.

In manufacturing, prices of manufacture of chemicals and chemical products increased by 8,5 %, coke and refined petroleum products by 7 %, metals and fabricated metal products by 3,1 %, machinery and equipment n.e.c. by 1,1 %, wood and paper products and printing by 1 %, rubber and plastic products; manufacture of transport equipment equally by 0,7 %, other manufacture, repair and installation of machinery and equipment by 0,6 %, electrical equipment by 0,5 % and computer, electronic and optical products by 0,4 %. Prices of manufacture of textile, clothing, leather and related products remained unchanged. Prices of food, beverages and tobacco and prices of basic pharmaceutical products and preparations decreased equally by 0,2 %.

In March 2021, compared to March 2020, prices for non-domestic market increased by 0,4 %. Prices of mining and quarrying increased by 5,2 % and manufacturing by 0,8 %. Prices of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply decreased by 7,8 % and water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities by 4,2 %.

In manufacturing, prices of chemicals and chemical products increased by 9,5 %, computer, electronic and optical products by 7,3 %, metals and fabricated metal products by 6,2 %, coke and refined petroleum products by 5,6 %, other manufacture, repair and installation of machinery by 5,1 %, electrical equipment by 3,1 % and rubber and plastic products by 2 %. Prices of wood and paper products decreased by 3,8 %, transport equipment by 2,9 %, manufacture of food products, beverages and tobacco; machinery and equipment n.e.c. by 1,9 %, textiles, clothing, leather, related products by 1 % and basic pharmaceutical products and preparations by 0,5 %.

On average, since the beginning of the year, compared to the same period last year, industrial producer prices for non-domestic market decreased by 0,9 % due to a decrease in prices of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 4,6 %, water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities by 2,5 % and manufacturing by 0,8 %. Prices of mining and quarrying increased by 1,1 %.

Prices of agricultural products

In March, agricultural products rose by 2,9 % year on year. Prices of crop products increased by 9,9 %. Prices of animal products decreased by 2,1 %.

As for the crop products, prices of cereals increased by 17,3 %, oilseeds and seeds by 16,8 %, legumes by 9,6 % and fruits and vegetables by 1,7 %. Potato prices fell by 19,3 %.

As for the animal products, prices of raw sheep's wool in sweat decreased by 28,6 %, pigs for slaughter by 8,5 %, live fish by 0,3 %, raw cow's milk by 1 % and prices of poultry for slaughter by 2,4 %. Prices of sheep for slaughter and lambs increased by 5,5 % and prices of hen edible eggs by 3,4 %. Prices of beef cattle and calves remained unchanged, year-on-year, in March.

Since the beginning of the year, prices of agricultural products increased, on average, by 1,4 % due to higher prices of crop products by 6,5 % and lower prices of animal products by 2,9 %.

Prices of construction works

In March, compared to February, construction work prices remained unchanged. Compared to March 2020, they decreased by 2,6 %. On average, construction work prices fell by 2,3 %, year-on-year, since the beginning of the year.

Prices of construction materials and components

Compared to February, prices of construction materials and components increased by 1,6 % in March. Compared to March 2020, they increased by 3 %. On average, since the beginning of the year, prices of construction materials and components increased by 0,6 % year on year.
