The prices of market services were higher year-on-year

In the 3rd quarter of 2023, the prices of market services were higher by 14.1% year-on-year. Quarter-on-quarter prices in market services dropped by 1.2%.

Prices in administrative, office support and other business support services recorded the most dynamic year-on-year growth (by 68.1%). Prices rose more significantly in financial services excluding insurance (by 67.5%), in real estate services (by 27.9%), in warehouse and auxiliary activities in transport (by 27.9%), and in motion picture, video and television programme production activities (by 26.9%).

On the contrary, the drop in prices compared to the corresponding period last year occurred in telecommunications (by 1.1%).

Quarter-on-quarter, i.e. compared to the 2nd quarter of 2023, prices increased mainly in air transport (by 23.4%) and in activities of head offices (by 6.8%). The most significant quarter-on-quarter price decline was recorded in advertising and market research (by 10.5%) and in financial services excluding insurance (by 7.9%).
