Sample price indices are compiled on the basis of selected products covering chapters of the Harmonised System. Indices are constructed separately for total imports and exports for the world as a whole, for several reference periods and are compiled by sections and chapters of the Harmonised System and by divisions of the Statistical Classification of Products by Activity (CPA, version 2.1).
