Within the framework of labour statistics, information on the status and development of employment, unemployment and job vacancies is provided. The basic source of this information is regular statistical surveys that are carried out in enterprises and households.
Quarterly enterpise labour reporting is focused on the basic collection of data on the average registered number of employees, hours worked, vacant and occupied jobs. Information is obtained from employers through electronic data collection under the integrated statistical information system.
The quarterly Labour Force Survey (LFS) is used for continuous quarterly monitoring of the labour supply with a focus on economic activity of the population, employment and unemployment. Information is collected through household questionnaires.
