The annual price growth measured by the harmonised index of consumer prices according to the common EU methodology has accelerated and reached its third highest value this year.

Price indices in production area in September 2024
The producer prices of industrial producers in Slovakia in September were lower by almost 9% than a year ago. Agricultural products were slightly cheaper mainly due to lower prices of crop products.

Inflation – consumer price indices for selected social groups in September 2024
In September, inflation in pensioner´s households was at the level of 2.2%, households of employees as well as low-income households experienced a year-on-year price growth equally by 2.7%.
