Turnover in internal trade in September 2024
In September, retailers again recorded faster year-on-year turnover growth, by 4.3%. Hyper- and supermarkets recorded the best result this year, e-shops also registered a dynamic increase.

Turnover in internal trade in August 2024
In August, retail turnover slowed down its growth rate to 0.7%. E-shops, tex-tile and footwear stores, pharmacies and drugstores were prosperous. Gas stations and large hypermarkets and supermarkets recorded a year-on-year turnover decline.

Turnover in internal trade in July 2024
Retail turnover in July accelerated its growth to 5.7%, year-on-year turnover increased, especially in specialized stores with footwear, textiles and drugstores, as well as Internet sales.

Retail turnover have remained in year-on-year growth for half a year. However, they increased by only 1.1% in June. The growth of the sector was mainly affected by e-shops and the most important hyper- and supermarkets in terms of share.

Turnover in internal trade in May 2024
Turnover in retail trade in May 2024 were 5.2% higher year-on-year. The good result was supported by almost a quarter turnover increase from internet sales. Hyper- and supermarkets also fared better, their turnover grew at the fastest rate this year.
