In December, output prices in industry slowed down their growth to the level of the beginning of the year.

Harmonized indices of consumer prices in December 2022

Price growth in SR, measured by the harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP), reached an average of 12.1% for the whole year 2022. Year-on-year price growth peaked in the last months of the year, December annual harmonized inflation reached 15%.

An increase in industrial producer prices for the domestic market slowed down significant-ly, also due to current cheapening of energy. Prices of construction materials continued to reduce a growth rate and reached below 15%.
